In the old times, the office of the supervicion for the winterfisheries was located in the house. The office was called "Oppsynsstasjonen", today we only say "Stasjonen".
From the house you can see the harbour of Sorvagen, and you also have an amazing view against the sea and the Lofoten wall (the chain of the mountains in Lofoten). You can also enjoy the nice view from the terraces. The house has two floors, 50m2 in each. On the 1st floor, all space is not utilized.
